Details

1. Go on a short walk to collect natural items like leaves, twigs, or flowers (ensure they are safe and clean).
2. Tape a piece of paper securely to a flat surface to prevent slipping.
3. Set out shallow containers with washable paint in various colors.
4. Dip a natural item into the paint and use it to create patterns or pictures on the paper.
5. Encourage the child to experiment with different items to see how their textures affect the artwork.
6. Discuss the shapes and textures of the items and how they influenced the art.
